Pile Burning & Engine Standby
While we no longer contract for full-service prescribed burning, we provide equipment and personnel to assist agencies in carrying out their prescribed burning projects. We provide services including Engine Standby, Pile Burning and Fire Effects Monitoring. We have fire equipment and personnel available for Project Activity Level standy as well.

NorthTree works with Barry Callenberger of Wildland Rx to develop prescribed burning projects. As Regional Fuels and Prescribed Fire Specialist for U.S. Forest Service Region 5, Mr. Callenberger represented the Region Fire and Aviation Management Program on Prescribed Fire issues. In this capacity, he developed prescribed fire policy for Region 5, developed interagency agreements for the cooperative use of prescribed fire, and provided leadership for California National Forests in the application of prescribed fire.
